The top speed is very hard to measure accurately and varies between individuals; it can run 56 km/h for 6 km, 67 km/h for 1.6 km and 88.5 km/h for 0.8 km. It is often cited as the second-fastest land animal, second only to the cheetah.

4 - Springbok
cheetah

Maximum speed : 88 km/h

The springbok is a medium-sized brown and white antelope-gazelle of southwestern Africa. It is extremely fast and can reach speeds of 88 km/h and can leap 4 m through the air. Unlike pronghorns, springboks are poor long-distance runners.

6 - Blackbuck
cheetah

Maximum speed : 80 km/h

Blackbucks are slender with a head-to-body length of about 120 cm. Adult males range in weight from 34 to 45 kg and females weigh 31 to 39 kg. They are very fast and can sustain speeds of 80 km/h for over 1.5 km.

cheetah

Maximum speed : 74 km/h

Greyhounds are the fastest dogs, and have primarily been bred for coursing game and racing. cheetah

Maximum speed : 71 km/h

Kangaroos have large, powerful hind legs, large feet adapted for leaping. The comfortable hopping speed for a kangaroo is about 21–26 km/h, but speeds of up to 71 km/h can be attained over short distances, while it can sustain a speed of 40 km/h for nearly 2 km (1.2 mi).
